New edition of West Coast Boating out now
Issue #5 of West Coast Boating is on the newsstands now and as usual is packed with news, reviews, new products and amusing articles.
The cover story is on Black Watch, recognised for a long time as a builder of serious offshore fishing boats. They have recently moved from Tweed Heads in NSW to Coomera in Queensland, the heartland of leisure boat building. New production manager Jason Chipp will oversee construction of their 18 models in 13 lengths where all hulls are built under commercial survey.
There are also reviews on a Nobel 625, Haines Signature 600c and the versatile Commodore Abrolhos.
The sailing craft reviewed is the West Wight Potter 19, this small vessel really shows how far trailer sailers have come in recent years
West Coast Watersports takes a look at the Courtesy Rider Team, Extreme Fishing and the WA disabled Water Ski Club.
Sort of a how-to is our regular Catch in the Kitchen by celebrity chef Kate Lamont. In this issue Kate shows us how to create a moth watering crab dish, Shark Bay crab with grilled peach and baby spinach, don't worry if you are not planning to go crabbing in Shark Bay, im sure a similar result will be achieved with local blue swimmers.
And what else is there? Reader John Neal shares with us a few instances he had with octopi during his time as a fisheries inspector, Steve Fitton can see clearly now and Peter Goulding educates us about what the future may hold for fishing in WA , and . . . Look, just $6.95 will get it all for you at first hand.
